A few weeks ago, the Chamber of Commerce of Zaragoza interviewed Antonio Jesús Gamito, Key Account Manager of Certinet, about the value of IT certifications and their importance when trying to enter the labor market.

First of all, the value of a certification for all individuals is to stand out from all the candidates. “When facing a new labor opportunity, the certified candidate always has a greater chance of getting hired than candidates without an official certification.” Similarly, “an employed individual who gets certified in a specific topic” has more probabilities of obtaining “a salary increase or a promotion.”

Companies that have IT certified employees differentiate themselves from other companies based on “the quality offered through their services, the competitiveness, and the employees’ efficiency”; all of these benefits are provided by certified employees.
